Free. No card.
Credits are metered from what a guide actually reads and writes. Reading is cached forever, so a second guide, a refine or a deck of cards only pays for the writing. Refines are never capped.

More files a guide, more credits a month and the bigger tools. They aren't on sale yet — for now Cram is the Free plan, with the limits on the left.

Sharp or Sharpest. You pick one before you build, and they build different amounts. Sharp is Cram's usual, about 61 credits: every section broken into facts, two questions per section with the answers hidden, the key terms, the traps and the quiz. Sharpest is about 131 — the better model, thinking for longer, and it adds the questions to guess at before you read, a check of what your files never covered, a “why” prompt on every section, and the whole unit recapped at a glance. Sharp is right for almost every unit; Sharpest earns its credits on math, proofs and dense theory. The price of each is on screen before you spend anything.
A guide is made in two passes. First every file is read once by a small model and reduced to a digest, which is kept on the file forever. Then a capable model writes the guide from the digests. Credits are charged from the real token spend of both, so a three-file worksheet unit costs a couple of credits and a fifty-file semester costs a few dozen.
Monthly credits reset on the first. The 100 extra credits for making an account don't: they land the first time you open the iPhone app — once per account, once per phone — and wait on top of your monthly credits, which are always spent first.
Run out and the month's credits come back on the 1st. Refines are never capped, and everything you've already made — guides, cards, practice tests — stays yours to study and print.
