Studying

  • No. A summary loses the thing you needed. A Cram guide keeps every key term bolded, names the test traps, holds contrasts side by side, and lists what your files never covered. Then it quizzes you on all of it.

  • Yes — say what to change in plain words: “stress the causes more”, “add a table of the formulas.” Refines are never capped on any plan; they spend credits like anything else.

  • It is told not to, and anything it adds that your files didn't contain is flagged as added so you can check it. It can still be wrong the way any model can — the guide is a place to start studying from, not the answer key.

  • Text is pulled out on your device with OCR before anything is sent, so a photo of a whiteboard or a scanned handout works. Handwriting is hit and miss; typed and printed pages are reliable.

Homework

  • Yes — it's a real board. Tap Write and draw on it: an Apple Pencil on an iPad (fingers still scroll), a finger on a phone, a mouse or trackpad on the web. The ink stays with that problem. Write your own attempt under the question and tap Check my writing to have it graded, or tap the question itself to change it and solve the new version.

  • Yes. Pick “Find my mistake”, photograph the page with your work on it — one problem or the whole sheet — and Cram reads your work line by line, grades each answer right, wrong or partly, strikes through the first line that went wrong and writes the fix under it. The whiteboard shows the same thing large, with notes, and you can ask questions there.

Your account & privacy

  • Which concepts you get wrong, and where. Every homework slip, every card you forget, every practice question you miss and every flag you raise is counted by class and by unit. That's what the stats center ranks, what the guide maker checks before it writes, and what extra problems are aimed at. It stays in your account.

  • Same guides, same account. Guides, homework, flashcards, the games, the practice test and your streak are on both; the iPhone app adds study groups, Canvas import, recording a class, and studying offline. Anything you make on the web is on the phone, and the other way around.

Plans

  • Credits are metered from real reading and writing. Roughly: a Sharp guide is about 61 credits and a Sharpest one about 131, and a homework solve is two or three. Reading is cached, so a second guide, a change or a deck of cards costs only the writing.
